Este es un estudio de revisión en el que se analizan las investigaciones que evalúan los efectos a lo largo del tiempo del programa de educacióntemprano Abecedarian Project (ABC). El ABC es un programa compensador preventivo de 0-5 años y entresacados de madres de alto riesgo. El grupo experimental (E) recibe tratamiento preescolar intensivo, no el control (C). Se prolongó escolarmente hasta los 8 años, subdividiéndose ambos grupos: Dos -EE y CE- recibieron tratamiento intensivo; otros (EC y CC) convencional. Fueron medidos hasta los 21. En este estudio de casos se describe y se interpreta reflexivamente una experiencia didáctica centrada en el tema “Los Peces”, y desarrollada en un primer grado de educación primaria dentro de una escuela innovadora. Se llevó un registro sistemático de lo sucedido, se recopilaron documentos y se realizaron entrevistas. Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) are a persistent and multiple manifestation of maladaptive behaviours which interfere with the students' learning, social functioning and development and/or that of their peers. They may become apparent through withdrawn, passive, aggressive or self-injurious tendencies. The prevalence of these disorders is 2-16% of the general population. Children with SEBD, diagnosed or not, are likely to live in social isolation, to receive a poor education, and they risk becoming deviant teenagers, or unemployed adults. Using Internet videos to learn about controversies: Evaluation and integration of multiple and multimodal documents by primary school students

Abstract In many Internet videos authors appear in front of the camera to present their particular view on a topic. Given the high consumption rate of Internet videos by teenagers, we explored the pros and cons of using these videos to learn about complex topics, compared to learning from textual web pages. Specifically, we studied how 207 primary school students (grades 4–6) evaluated and integrated multiple and multimodal web pages (text or video) while learning about the pros and cons of bottled water. Jedną z istotniejszych idei ostatniej reformy edukacji w Polsce było obniżenie wieku obowiązku szkolnego z siedmiu do sześciu lat. We wrześniu 2015 roku wszystkie dzieci sześcioletnie rozpoczęły naukę w klasie pierwszej. Objęcie dzieci sześcioletnich obowiązkiem szkolnym wzbudziło wiele kontrowersji i liczne protesty społeczne, których efektem jest dzisiaj zapowiedź cofnięcia reformy. Celem opracowania jest próba oceny obecnej sytuacji - przedstawienie argumentów za i przeciw rozpoczęciu szkolnej edukacji dzieci sześcioletnich. Autorka zamieszcza także uwagi skierowane do najbliższego otoczenia dziecka - rodziców i nauczycieli, które mogą złagodzić trudy związane ze szkolną adaptacją.
